For Dr. Kathakali Chatterjee, psychiatry is not just a profession—it’s a calling rooted in empathy, deep listening, and the belief that every person deserves to feel understood and supported. With over a decade of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she has walked alongside individuals from all walks of life on their journeys through emotional pain, recovery, and resilience.

A graduate of Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College (MBBS) and R.G. Kar Medical College (MD Psychiatry), both under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Dr. Chatterjee brings academic excellence and practical depth to her practice. Her MD research focused on dissociative disorders—a reflection of her interest in complex human behavior and the nuanced relationship between mind and body.

What truly sets Dr. Kathakali apart is her human-first approach. Patients often describe her as approachable, warm, and someone who truly listens without judgment. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or more severe psychiatric conditions, she believes in tailoring every treatment plan to your unique emotional, social, and physical needs.

Currently practicing at Meditrina MIHAN in Dahegaon, Nagpur, Dr. Chatterjee provides a safe, confidential space where mental wellness is nurtured with care and clinical precision. Her services include psychiatric consultations, psychotherapy, medication management, and supportive therapy for individuals and families.

As an active member of the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) and the Psychiatric Society of Nagpur (PSN), she continues to stay updated with the latest developments in mental health care.

For Dr. Kathakali Chatterjee, healing is a partnership. Her goal is simple: to help you feel seen, heard, and whole again—because mental health isn’t just about survival, it’s about living fully.

“Mental health is not just the absence of illness, but the presence of emotional strength, clarity, and resilience. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live a mentally healthy life.”
